*SHOP HISTORY – The Cornerstone Shop began on the front porch of Ruth Meckstroh’s Jefferson Street home, in New Bremen, Ohio, during the summer of 1977. The second owner, Carol Dick, moved the business to downtown New Bremen in 1984, and then to the Amsterdam Center in 1990. The current owner, Angie Topp, purchased the store in 1997 and expanded the business in 2015. From the start, The Cornerstone Shop has provided the surrounding communities with a place to find Christian books, gifts and home decor.
*OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE – At The Cornerstone Shop, you will find customer service like no other! The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. If we don’t stock what you are looking for, we are glad to see if we can order it. Gift Wrapping, a listening ear and smiles are always free!
*PRODUCTS – The shop is overflowing with the area’s Largest Selection of Gifts for Baby, Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, Wedding, Anniversary and Bereavement. Christian themed jewelry and rosaries are one of our specialties.
You will find a large selection of Bibles and Christian books, for children through adult. The inspirational home decor line includes a wide variety of last supper prints, scripture decor, wall crosses, crucifixes and indoor statuary. We have advent wreaths and nativities available year round, including Fontanini pieces.
We have garden statues available year round, to enhance your landscaping. Our inventory includes the popular concrete infinity crosses, in various sizes and finishes, which are often purchased for wedding, anniversary and bereavement gifts.
